Here’s a handful of moments from Sara and Richard’s wedding yesterday at Canada Lodge and Lake.
It’s been the better part of three years since I last photographed at Canada Lodge. Add lots had changed since then, all for the better too. It really is a stunning location, cant wait to get back.

Before any wedding, I sit down with the happy couple to talk to them about their big day along with finding out more about them and their relationship.
How Long Have You Been Together?: 12 years
Where Did You First Meet?: A house party
Where Did You Get Engaged?: Aberystwyth in our favourite hotel looking out at sea
Why Did You Choose Your Wedding Venue?: We fell in love with how pretty it is and loved the chilled vibe
Getting Ready
Bridal place of choice to get ready were the three lodges on the far side of the lake from the wedding venue. I love these wooden lodges which are all bright airy, which are perfect for getting ready in. After they got ready, they took the short ride in the golf buggy after the wedding venue for the wedding ceremony in Canada Lodge.
The Ceremony
How amazing does the Lodge look with all these wedding decorations, most of which were supplied by Best Buds by Samara. Don’t forget if you can find any of the wedding suppliers involved in this wedding if you scroll to the end.
Wedding Photos at Canada Lodge and Lake
Fantastic evening night provided some awesome opportunities for photos around the wedding venue.
The Reception
Plenty of entertainment during the reception for the gas the entertainment was provided by Beardy of the Piano Guy and Picasso Griffiths, who is an excellent caricaturist.
The Party
The evening started with a traditional father-daughter dance before the first dance and ended with, what I’m finding is super popular at the moment, sparklers with all the guests.
