So I’m Phil, in my mid-thirties, well 37 to be exact. Born and bred in the Rhondda, South Wales where I live with my family. One wife, two kids and a hairy, barking, postman hater called Barney. I got married in 2014 so I know full well the stress that comes with making everything perfect for the big day.
As a kid growing up, I’ve always had an eye for detail and enjoy art and creativity. I studied Product Design in Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2004. Left the Valleys for a couple of years before returning home.
Hobbies and interests of mine include food….big fan of that stuff. Also love sport and basketball in particular. I enjoy cycling but my wife threatened to cancel our wedding if I had a big accident before it as I’d had a few bumps leading up the big day. As a result of that threat, my cycling adventures are few and far between these days (cue the violin). Although I don’t seem to have as much spare time since kids came onto the scene anyway. Funny that.
So aside from all the above I have been developing my photography skills for quite some time. I’ve been fortunate to make this my new career, becoming a full time photographer in 2014. I started in my younger years taking photos of modified cars and track days. This led me to my first wedding. A friend wanted some photos taken (I'm sure this is how all wedding photographers start!) of his wedding. A simple registry office ceremony with some photos in a local park. And the rest, as they say, is history
