Congratulations to Laura and Craig who tied the knot at St David’s Church in Miskin before moving to Holm House Hotel in Penarth for the reception – after making a cheeky stop on the pier for ice cream. Top work!

Before any wedding, I sit down with the happy couple to talk to them about their big day along with finding out more about them and their relationship.

Why Did You Choose Your Wedding Venue?: Because we hadn’t been yo the venue for a wedding before and loved the use of the garden and bi-fold doors. We are hoping for a sunny day 🤞
Getting Ready
Laura got ready at her parents wonderfully spacious house before jumping in the wedding cars before heading to the Church in Miskin. For me, this church holds a little place in my heart – it was the church I photographed my first wedding in, and it’s always a warm welcome from the lovely vicar.
The Ceremony
Some nerves were on show in the ceremony as you can see from some of the photos below. The church we full to the brim of friends and family, a lovely sight. As a photographer we have favourite things, venues, locations, make-up artists and I can say without a doubt this is one of my favourite vicars, so engaging, friendly and entertaining, which made for a wonderful ceremony.
Wedding Photos at Penarth Pier
We just had to grab an ice cream and some photos on the pier as we were passing. It would be rude not to!
The Holm House Wedding Reception
A beach and nautical theme with some brightly coloured flowers finished the decorations inside the reception room. Most people are outside enjoying the summer sun before coming inside for the wedding breakfast and the hilarious speeches.
The Party
We kick the party off with my customary shots before they took to the dancefloor for the first dance and this set the theme for the evening, the dancefloor was packed all night long due to some awesome music provided by The Big What Band.
