A PERFECT COUNTRYSIDE MARQUEE WEDDING
A private marquee wedding, a VW coffee van, a free bar with a shots bar outside, fire pit, paella, sparklers and glorious weather. Not much was missing from Ian and Chessie’s wedding, which was held at their property near Rugby on Saturday.
Congratulations both, thank you so much for asking me to be part of the day.
Phil.
FRANCESCA + IAN
How Long Have You Been Together?: 6 Years
Wedding Car Supplier: Ian’s dad has a old Mercedes 280sl which we will use, and Ian works for Land Rover so we will be borrowing some cars from kind colleagues!
GETTING READY BEFORE THEIR MARQUEE WEDDING
The bridal party got ready at Francesca’s parents home, which was a short walk from the church. A small cottage with great views across the countryside. Despite the marquee being on the grounds of their home, she decided to get ready at her parents. This allowed Ian to make the final changes to the marquee set up before getting ready and travelling the short distance to the church in Little Lawford.
THE CEREMONY
It’s always special when the church is the one in your families village. When first walking into the church you’d be excused if you didn’t notice the vast amount of flowers that decorated the interior. Let your eyes adjust a little to the light then it hits you that every available space adorned with flowers. Incredible. A gorgeous and personal ceremony followed before heading back to continue their wedding in the marquee in their families classic Mercedes.
Marquee Wedding At Home
How awesome does this marquee wedding set up look? Seriously. Coffee van (you know I’m a fan of that!), free bar, outdoor shots bar, love heart flower picture frame, incredible decorations and a massive cheesecake. It doesn’t get better. And the guests seemed to agree.
THE NIGHT
What a party. You know it is going to be a good night when there’s a free bar in the marquee, and the outdoor shots bar runs dry! The weather was excellent, so we gathered everyone outside of the marquee for some fun with sparklers. Something I’ve started getting known for now, my night photos. I love them, and it’s always a lovely time to get some fresh air and escape the madness of the wedding.
TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE COUNTRYSIDE
With the sun setting quickly, we jumped at the chance to get into the field behind their house. A few minutes of photos later in the countryside and they were heading back to the party.
WEDDING SLIDESHOW
For an extended look at their highlights, please enjoy the slideshow I compiled of their marquee wedding below. The photos below are only a small snapshot of their wedding in the marquee. Below you can watch their slideshow of around 80-100 images. Enjoy!
