Chelsie and Paul got married at the gorgeous Llechwen Hall Hotel, this past Saturday. It was a beautiful marquee wedding, with lots of emotion, fun and laughter.
The couple met on a night out and have been together for over the years before tying the knot. They are the loveliest people along with all their guests and family who made me feel so welcomed all day long.
Bridal Prep
Chelsie got ready Llechwen Hall Hotel with her bridesmaids, flower girls and page boy. There was such a calm vibe right up until the time to walk down the aisle approached! Her first dress was by Justin Alexander and looked so beautiful. Chelsie also had a second dress. A more comfortable, not as big, dress for the evening to allow for some serious shapes on the dance floor. After hair and makeup, Chelsie walked the short distance to the ceremony room.
Paul got ready at his home with his best men. He wore a suit by Oxford House menswear and looked dapper. He travelled to the ceremony in his own awesome BWM. No need to hire any cars to replace this one!
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the Nelson Suite in Llechwen Hall Hotel. The ceremony area was a beautiful room, which was so gorgeous, with the light flooding in from the big open doors. The ceremony began with Chelsie walking down the aisle with a huge smile on her face. And finished with a big cheer from everyone. It was a moving ceremony, full of so much love and emotions.
After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the canapés and welcome drinks. The kids enjoyed playing with the garden games, which was so much fun them. We took some time out for some group photos, which we didn’t take too long to complete. I got some fun candid photos as they enjoyed the afternoon sun. The weather was all sunshine and blue skies,, it has been one of the best summers I can remember for a long time.
After The Ceremony
Chelsie and Paul chose Llechwen Hall for their wedding venue because they loved the ability to relax for the weekend. It’s also close to their home, which was great for convenience. The hotel also has so many options for weddings. Llechwen Hall Hotel is an understated hotel which has a fab feel to it. Especially in their new marquee where they had their wedding reception.
For the reception, the couple had organised canapés and nibbles and lawn games for their guests. Everyone had so much fun, especially the children who played with the lawn games. Everyone was then called in for food, which was a proper three-course meal. They had speeches after the meal, which was so emotional.
The Evening
After the meal, the guests tucked into the sweet table and had a go in the photo-booth, and the evening kicked off. The DJ played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.
The evening ended with Jagerbombs all round, which was hilarious. I almost got dragged into having, but I had to remain professional! The whole wedding was the most fun, from the bride’s awesome dress to the Jagerbombs at the bar. One of the best parts of the wedding was getting some quiet time with the two of them. This allowed us to get some fantastic photos, because of the incredible light with the setting sun in the distance.
