Claire and Keiran got married at the beautiful Pencoed House Estate, Cardiff, in June. It was a stunning wedding, with so many little details and plenty of emotion flowing!
GETTING READY
Claire got ready at her parents’ house with her mother, father and bridesmaids. She wore a Diane Harbridge wedding dress and looked incredible. There was such a relaxed vibe until it was time to leave for the ceremony at the church. It was only 1 minute from the house.
Keiran got ready at their home with his ushers and best men. Kieran and his ushers/best men wore suits from Dyfed Menswear and looked dapper. They then travelled to the ceremony in one of the wedding cars by Prices Wedding Cars.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony took place in their local church. It was not far from where they live in the Rhondda. They lived by the best vicar around Father who I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts.
After the ceremony, they walked down the aisle together and made their way outside to throw the confetti. Confetti throwing was a little rushed as the heavens opened and the rain came thundering down. Everyone travelled to the reception at Pencoed House Estate.
THE RECEPTION
Claire and Keiran chose to have their wedding reception at Pencoed House Estate. They loved the decor, and it meant they had a lot less work to do (in theory!). It is one of the best wedding venues in South Wales. Pencoed House Estate is an old barn on the outskirts of Cardiff. It has a romantic feel to it, especially in the Old Hall where the wedding breakfast was going to take place.
For the welcome drinks, the couple had a prosecco bicycle for the guests. The bridal party has arranged a surprise chocolate strawberry tower for Claire and Kieran. Everyone helped themselves! Being a little short on time from travelling down from the church, we went through the list of group photos to take. We tried to take them before being called into the Old Hall for the wedding breakfast. They had speeches before the wedding breakfast. This was due to a few of the wedding party having some nerves at giving speeches!
THE EVENING
After the meal finished, they cut the cake, and the party got started! The DJ played all the best songs to get everyone dancing. This included a massive medley of old-school dance tunes!
The evening ended with some sparklers outside. This is always fun even, if there were a slight sparkler and bridesmaid dress incident! The whole wedding was such a laugh. Start to finish. One of the most memorable parts of the day was the first time Claire’s dad saw her for the first time in her dress. Check the photo out below!
