Congratulations to Jodie and Chris who had their wedding at Lakeside Venue, Blackmill. It was an emotional family affair for the ceremony and a super fun reception.
Following the ceremony at All Saints Church, Trealaw, the party moved to the beautiful Lakeside Venue, Blackmill. There’s a reason its called “the hidden gem”! It was my first time shooting a wedding at The Lakeside Venue, which is strange as it’s so close to where I live! Fingers crossed it won’t be my last time!
For their wedding breakfast, they had an impressive selection of BBQ food. A first for me at any wedding, and such a cool idea! All the guests loved it, a refreshing change from the traditional beef or chicken dinner!
One of the funniest parts of the day was when some of the guests (fuelled by the drink) decided to race to the car park and back. This race proceeded in one of the guests falling pretty hard onto the gravel road. If you want to see the photo of this, you’ll have to check out my Instagram!
In the evening they hired the awesome Replicas Cover Band. I may be a little biased on this as they played at my wedding! We finished the night off with my customary “wedding present”. If you’ve not seen my year in review, its when I buy the bride and groom a shot of their choice. The only caveat is they have to pick each other drinks, and it has to be something they can’t stand! I jump behind the bar and get the reaction shots. Priceless.
